Christine Falter

Christine Falter works as a policy officer in the horizontal unit for rural development at the European Commission’s DG for Agriculture and Rural Development. She currently focuses on environment and climate related issues, as well as animal welfare, but still follows closely the developments on LEADER/ CLLD. Previously she worked in DG MARE where she was involved in launching the LEADER approach in the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund in the 2007-2013 period, as well as in setting up the European Fisheries Ares Network (FARNET). She holds a MSC in European Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
